Corporate History

1930	Koshida-Syokai founded.
1933	Koshida-Shokai started operations as Mitsubishi Electric Corporation's sole agent for automotive equipment in the Eastern Japan region.
1941	Company name changed to Koshida Shoko Co., Ltd.
1961	Koshida Real Estate Co., Ltd. (now Koshida Co., Ltd.) founded. Sapporo Office established.
1970	Sendai Office established.
1977	Trading business launched.
1983	Saitama Koshida Co., Ltd. (now Techno Koshida Co., Ltd.) founded. KOSHIDA TRADING (S) PTE. LTD. founded in Singapore.
1985	Branch office established in Seoul, South Korea.
1990	Company name changed to KOSHIDA CORPORATION
1997	KOSHIDA (HONG KONG) LIMITED founded.
1998	Logistics Mates Corporation founded. Helios Net Corporation founded.
2000	Kansai Office established. Utsunomiya Office established.
2001	Auto Zeus Corporation founded. Ota Office established. Taipei Branch established.
2002	FUNUS Corporation founded.
2004	Autobacs Shanghai Trading Co., Ltd. founded.
2007	Koshida Shanghai Information Technology Co., Ltd. founded.
2009	Acquired motorcycle-related franchise chain (RICOLAND).
2010	Koshida Trading (Beijing) Ltd. founded.
2011	Koshida (Thailand) Co., Ltd. founded.
2012	KOSHIDA KOREA CORPORATION founded. Acquired ISO 27001 (international standard for information security management systems) certification.
2013	Koshida System Engineering Co., Ltd. founded.
2014	The head office relocated from Shimbashi to Takanawa.
2015	Following companies founded: KMC Northern Japan Inc., KMC Northern Kanto Inc., KMC Southern Kanto Inc., KMC Chubu Inc., KMC Kansai Inc., and KMC Southern Japan Inc..
2016	Sapporo Office established.
2017	Atsugi Office established.
2018	Koshida Holdings (Thailand) Co., Ltd. founded.
2020	A part of the original equipment business out of our automotive related business was transferred to Melco Automotive Solution Co. for incorporation-type company split.
2021	Direct transaction business with auto manufacturers was transferred to Melco Automotive Solution Co. for incorporation-type company split (as a result, Utsunomiya sales office(currently Utsunomiya office), Ota sales office and Atsugi sales office were transferred to Melco Automotive Solution Co.).
